Flowsynced Focus Sessions

You don't have to work alone.

Sometimes we know exactly what we need to do, but somehow starting feels impossible.

You open your laptop, check your phone, make another coffee… and somehow an hour passes without getting anything done.

That’s where Flowsynced Focus Sessions come in.

These are public online study & coworking sessions for anyone who needs a little body doubling, accountability, or simply the feeling of not working alone.

You don't need to be motivated before you join.

You just need to show up and be willing to start.

How it works

We meet online and work alongside each other. Everyone works on their own task, whether that's:

studying for an exam
working on a project
writing
coding
doing administrative work
reading
planning
or simply getting something you've been procrastinating on done

At the beginning of the session, please use the meeting chat to introduce yourself:

Name + what you're working on + your objective for this session

For example:

Vajihe — working on my thesis — my goal is to finish 3 pages.

Then we work.

A few important rules 🤍

🎥 Camera on

Your camera needs to stay on during the working part of the session. This is a body-doubling space, so seeing each other actually working is an important part of how the session works.

🔇 Mics off while working

These sessions are designed for focus, not conversation.

Please keep your microphone muted while we're working. If you need to communicate something, use the chat.

These are not therapy, coaching, or venting sessions, and the host will also be working during the session. Please don't open your microphone expecting a conversation or an immediate response.

🚪 Commit to the session

Please only join when you can genuinely dedicate the session to your work or study.

Coming and going repeatedly can be distracting for everyone, so please choose a session you can stay for and try to remain until the end.

If something unexpected comes up, of course, you can leave.

And at the end…

We don't just disappear when the timer ends.

We'll open our microphones for a few minutes and each share:

What did I accomplish?

And why am I proud of myself today?

It doesn't matter if you finished everything on your list.

Maybe you studied for 40 minutes when you wanted to study for zero.

Maybe you finally started the project you've been avoiding.

Maybe you stayed focused despite having a difficult day.

The goal isn't to be perfect. The goal is to show up, do what you can, and recognize yourself for doing it.

Flowsynced Focus Sessions have a minimum participation fee of [X].

This isn't about making the sessions inaccessible. It's a small commitment to yourself and to the space.

Because this time is yours — and when you invest even a little in showing up, you're more likely to actually give yourself the time and attention you came for.

Bring your lack of motivation.

You don't have to figure everything out before you join.

Just come, sit down, and let's get some work done together.
