My journey started in engineering, though I quickly found myself gravitating towards design, wanting to understand people, simplifying things, and making experiences feel better. Moving into UI/UX felt honest to who I am. Outside of work, I love teaching, painting, and gardening. These things keep me grounded and remind me why I care so much about creativity, self-expression, and impact. I try to work in alignment with my values and choose projects that add real meaning. A philosophy that resonates deeply with me is Ubuntu : “I am because we are.” It’s a gentle reminder that our growth, work, and stories are all connected. The people we learn from, teach, work with, or simply meet along the way shape who we become. This belief makes me value community, collaboration, and the simple act of showing up for each other. This is also why I enjoy being part of the design community, offering feedback, exchanging ideas, or just having honest conversations. If something I’ve learned can make someone else’s journey a little easier, that feels meaningful to me. Helping others in whatever small way I can feels natural because I’ve learned so much from others too. I’m always open to connecting, learning from others, and sharing what I know. :)
