Vaidehi Vaidya is the founder of Women in Sport India (WISI), a platform dedicated to expanding leadership and career pathways for women in sports. A former football player and coach, her experiences revealed the lack of structured support for women in the field, inspiring her to build WISI in 2020. She leads WISI, a global digital community connecting women in sports and fitness for mentorship, opportunities, and professional growth. Her work aligns with global goals for well-being and gender equality, aiming to spark systemic change in India’s sports ecosystem. Vaidehi has been selected for the Global Sports Mentoring Program by the U.S. Department of State and ESPN, is a Bumble Next Movers Grant recipient, a WomenLead India Fellow, and a SheSparks Award winner. She serves on the Advisory Board at the University of Liverpool, is a TEDx speaker, and the first Indian member of the FIFA Fan Forum.
