Everyone has a unique story to share and I believe there’s always something we can learn from it Welcome to my story // As a kid, I always wanted to do a lot of things and take up a lot of roles, just to try out what everything felt like before I decided which career I wanted to settle into. My parents did everything they could in their capacity to get me involved in whatever extracurricular activities that were feasible. But I still feared missing out on what I couldn't do. After school, I got myself into chemical engineering. Reason - I wanted to do something different, something that had the potential to create a positive impact through working on sustainability and the environment. Even while pursuing chemical engineering, I got into building automobiles, representing college cricket & football teams, learning drums, and doing data science projects. The idea of confining myself to a degree or a job title felt unnatural to me. I could never limit myself to a single label. Like how I got into something with the flow, I came across many who weren't able to realize their potential, A players stuck in the B game, because they knew nothing better, lacking resources and exposure. Experiencing failures and different pain points, both personal and of those I interacted with, inspired me to solve all those problems. But how do I do that? With my background, I had no business doing business. Tried going with the norm of what everyone around seemed to be following - getting good grades, then a good college, then a good job, and settling for good, but I just couldn’t accept and align with the philosophy. Good just didn't feel good enough. I thought I was the only one having bigger dreams and even bigger frustrations - having absolutely no clue how to work toward converting those audacious yet vague thoughts into reality. Well, not until I earned guidance and perspective from those who had ‘been there done that’. Now not only am I working on customizing my lifestyle by creating my own chosen family, traveling, and having the freedom of time and choices, but by the end of this decade, also help 10 individuals and families to achieve the same.
