Have demonstrated success as a single-threaded leader for business outcomes - by shipping products using first principles and built strong engineering teams from scratch. Have end-to-end knowledge of product life-cycle, front-end, mobile, and middle-tier server-level languages, a wide spectrum of databases, machine learning, production-grade data pipelines with added experience in cloud and high scale complex applications. Currently, I'm the VP of engineering at InsureTech Unicorn Acko Insurance (80M+ users, $300M+ ARR) leading a dynamic team of 100+ engineers. My most memorable role was as the Founder & CEO at Askmonk, where I was involved in conceptualising and heading all tech & product, fund-raising and executive initiates for the company before exiting in 2017. Apart from founding Askmonk, I have worked at leadership positions for startups like CheQ (5M+ Users), Twin (Global health-tech Unicorn), TradeIndia (20M+ SMEs) & Goibibo (100M+ Users) on their flagship products where my focus was on consumer empathy & performance both. Also been invited at various entrepreneurship events including ones at IIM-A & Carnegie Mellon University, US.
