About me
As a Graduate Research Assistant at RIT, I am working on an innovative project that aims to enhance job training experience for people with intellectual disabilities (ID) by developing an immersive virtual reality (VR) training simulation model. I am the primary researcher who conducted contextual inquiries, user interviews, and a design sprint, and who is currently analyzing the data for further implementation. The project received funding of $5000 within the first phase and is estimated to impact around 30,000 employees in NY state.
I am also a UX designer and researcher with a passion for creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences, especially for accessible technologies. I have handled design processes of five startups from ideation to launch as an intern at NextCorps, and delivered successful web, mobile, and software applications projects as a junior UX designer at Spiderweb Web Development Solutions. I am skilled in user research, usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping, and I use platforms like Figma, GMetri, and Spatial.io. I have published two papers on web development and online crime reporting, and I am looking forward to attending GHC 2023 to learn and network with other professionals in the field.
