Hi, I'm Ushnish Ghosal, a Computer Science undergraduate at SRM Institute of Science and Technology with a strong focus on building AI systems that solve real-world problems. My technical work spans Computer Vision, Agentic AI, Large Language Models, and intelligent systems, and I've had the chance to apply these interests through internships at Samsung R&D and Synapse, alongside independent research and hackathon projects. Beyond building, I lead. As Chairperson of the IEEE Computer Society at SRMIST, I run technical initiatives, mentor students, and organize large-scale conferences, hackathons, and workshops that bring hundreds of students into the AI and research ecosystem. I started offering mentorship on Topmate because I've seen firsthand how much faster people grow when they have someone to demystify the process: picking the right AI project, breaking into research, prepping for a hackathon, landing an internship, or walking into a technical interview with confidence.
