Life can be really complex. Journaling does not need to be.

Which is why we did our best to make this journal as much YOURS as it's OURS. Unlike a typical journal, you do not need to go in chronological order. If you look at the index, it will direct you to a page that aligns with how you are feeling.

When we started working on the journal, our main goal was to give you a companion- something to take around with you on days when you are feeling too much... or days when you are not sure how to talk to anyone... or even as a means to have deeper connections with the people around you.

The journal is black and white because, like we said before, this book is YOURS! The purpose of the illustrations is to provide you with a partially blank canvas. We encourage you to color every page, every illustration, and every thought into existence.

May this book provide you the much needed respite you deserve.
