Hi, I’m Shipra Bhutada— a design thinker, user researcher, and 3X founder passionate about bridging insight with action. I’ve been practicing as a user researcher for over two decades, with a formal design education from NID (National Institute of Design). For the past 8 years, I’ve led UCC (User Connect Consultancy) — a research studio I founded to help startups, enterprises, and global product teams turn deep user understanding into strategic decisions. I also founded Susego, a mindful menswear label rooted in comfort, sustainability, and storytelling. Most recently, I launched IGNITE, India’s first dedicated User Research conference. IGNITE is more than an event — it’s a movement to advance the practice, connect global voices with Indian perspectives, and spotlight the role of research in building better products and businesses. At the heart of it all is curiosity — about people, systems, and the change we can drive when design, research, and entrepreneurship come together.
