Hey, I'm Usama 👋 I'm a full stack engineer from Lahore, Pakistan. Over the past 5+ years, I've gone from writing my first REST API to architecting distributed systems — microservices, event-driven architectures, real-time platforms, search infrastructure, and backends that handle millions of messages at scale. My stack runs deep in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, gRPC, Docker, and AWS. I've built across startups and enterprise, onsite and remote, local and international teams. But here's the thing that changed my career more than any tech stack: I've given 200+ tech interviews. Not because I was job-hopping. Because I treated interviewing as a skill — one I practiced obsessively. That gave me a deep understanding of what companies actually test for at every level, how international teams evaluate differently than local ones, and what separates a "decent answer" from a "we want to hire this person" answer. I went from bombing basic questions as a fresh grad to landing senior-level remote offers with US companies. I've seen the patterns from both sides — the mistakes that kill your chances and the prep that compounds into confidence. Now I want to help you skip the painful parts. Whether you're preparing for your first backend interview, trying to break into remote roles, want honest feedback on your resume, or need someone to pressure-test your system design thinking — I've been exactly where you are, and I know what it takes to get to the next level. Let's work on it together. ✌🏻
