When I started law school, I had countless questions: how to secure internships, write research papers, prepare for moot courts, manage academics, build a CV, and make the most of every semester. Through trial, mentorship, and experience, I've developed practical strategies that genuinely work. Through TopMate, I hope to simplify that journey for other law students. Now, a bit about me: I am a final year LL.B (Hons.) student at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. My academics and internships, particularly the one at Aadi Legal Solutions (LAW FIRM), exposed me to diverse legal proceedings, including corporate disputes, criminal litigation, and matrimonial law, as well as ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) mechanisms like mediation and arbitration. I have also enhanced my learning through online courses and workshops on various topics like Negotiations, Financial Markets and AI (Artificial Intelligence). Beyond internships, I've actively invested in developing a well-rounded academic and professional profile. I was selected as a Summer Scholar at Somerville College, University of Oxford, where I studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE), broadening my understanding of public policy, political thought, and interdisciplinary decision-making. Earlier, I attended the London School of Economics Summer School, studying Business Analysis and Valuation, which strengthened my analytical and commercial perspective. These international academic experiences have allowed me to approach legal problems through both legal and business lenses while learning alongside students from diverse backgrounds. Outside law, I enjoy continuously learning new skills. I completed the A2 Level German Language programme at the Goethe-Institut (Max Mueller Bhavan), which enhanced my cross-cultural communication skills and appreciation for international perspectives. I'm also a state-level 10m Air Pistol shooter, a pursuit that has taught me discipline, patience, mental resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. In addition, I have been formally trained in keyboard under the Trinity College London curriculum up to Grade 7, an experience that has nurtured my creativity, patience, and appreciation for teamwork and disciplined practice. I believe these pursuits outside the classroom have been just as valuable in shaping my mindset as my legal education, helping me develop focus, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
