I come from an architectural background, and have always associated with designing for users and empathizing with their needs and functional requirements. After studying architecture and UX designing I was able to find a synergy between the two and amalgamate both fields in my design rationale and design process in a better way. Being an architect I have contributed as a team member in various landmark projects. Now, after learning about the fundamentals of UX designing and learning the similarities between architecture and UX designing, I have gained knowledge about empathizing with user, defining the product, carrying out research, analysing the findings, ideation and designing for solutions, creating wireframes, creating low and high fidelity prototypes, testing the prototypes, validating and building on the product. I look forward to getting opportunities in UX designing Internships to kick start my career as a UX designer.
