My career has never followed a perfectly straight line. And I think that has become one of my biggest strengths. I started my professional journey with an interest in business, operations, technology, and solving real-world problems. Over time, that journey took me through different roles and responsibilities across operations, analytics, project management, business leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship. But one of the biggest turning points in my journey was becoming a founder. I decided to build my own startup. Like many founders, I started with an idea. But very quickly, I learned that having an idea and building a business are two completely different things. I had to think about customers. Who actually has this problem? Would they pay for a solution? How should the product work? How should we price it? How do we find customers? How do we operate with limited resources? How do you make decisions when there is no playbook? Building that company taught me more about execution, leadership, customers, product, business, and decision-making than any textbook could. The journey eventually resulted in the startup being sold in 2023. For me, the most important part wasn't simply the sale. It was the experience of taking something from: Idea → Validation → Building → Execution → Business That experience changed the way I approach problems. Later, my journey brought me deeper into technology, analytics, and Program and Product Management. Today, I work across complex technology programs involving areas such as AI, advanced data science, analytics, reporting, enterprise software, digital transformation, and change management. I work across different teams, priorities, stakeholders, and products—connecting strategy with execution. And that's where I realised something. Whether you're building a startup, managing a technology program, preparing for a career transition, or trying to get your first interview—the underlying problem is often similar: You know where you want to go, but you don't always know how to get there. That's why I joined Topmate. I want to share what I've learned from both sides of my journey: From being a founder… to working in technology and program management… to navigating career transitions… to building experience across AI, Data, Product, Project and Program Management. I don't claim to have every answer. But I've made mistakes, taken risks, changed directions, built things, managed complex programs, and learned how much clarity matters before execution. My goal is simple: If I can help someone avoid a mistake I made, prepare better for an opportunity, make a smarter career decision, or move their startup idea one step closer to reality, the conversation was worth it.
