I love conversations. And I love hearing about stories of people. We often forget that behind stellar profiles, there are real flawed humans too. I like to talk, unfold and understand those humans. Over time, I can see my career inching towards more people-focused roles. I started my corporate life as an NLP researcher and a big data engineer – building QA systems for some of the coolest technology labs in Germany, and designing persuasion engines to streamline user targeting for a travel aggregator. Did some soul searching, and left a job in Data engineering right when everyone started gravitating towards it. Felt like the only one leaving a train everyone else wanted to board, but knew it was the right decision. MBA bridged my path from cubicles to conference rooms – now I consult large healthcare and FSI clients on digital strategy, digital transformation, operating model design, process discovery and supply chain transformation. Somehow always tried to run away from technology to more creative and artistic pursuits, but haven’t fully succeeded. Tired and lost, am happy to finally pursue my childhood dream of writing. I recently published a book on reflection and self-discovery. I am deeply inquisitive about human nature and have interesting views on life's most pertinent questions.
