To my surprise, many bootcamps, design schools, and online courses fail to teach students about resume building I knew solving this would help many of my students.
So we began carefully documenting what senior designers like myself were looking for in a fresher's resume:
✅ How well is the resume layout?
✅ Is it ATS-friendly?
✅ Is the summary section strong, avoiding generic buzzwords like passionate/dedicated etc?
✅ Does the resume have a link to a portfolio like Behance or Dribbble
✅ Does the candidate have enough experience working on any design projects?
✅ Are there any relevant project (segregated by B2B, B2C projects)?
✅ Has the candidate included quantifiable or measurable project impact?
