Ask an SE/FDE Career Question / Ask for Referrals

Priority DM

Have one question about an SE/FDE career, interview preparation or the day-to-day work? If it doesn't need a full conversation, send it here with enough context for me to give you a useful answer.

For example: which experience should you emphasise for a particular role, what should you prepare for a discovery round, or how does the role described in a job listing differ from presales? I'll reply in writing within two working days.

This covers one focused question and one written answer. It isn't an urgent support service, a referral request, an ongoing chat or a substitute for a CV or project review. If you have several questions to work through, choose a call instead.
