THank you so much for ur time, Ms. Peterson. You're really attentive in answering questions, and I'd appreciate it even more if you could answer my question on who I should reach out first every single day among the list of alumni: entry level, or director-level.

WHat I love the most is definitely Harrison's advice on cold email, which is to keep it short and about the other person.

It’s very important to connect with HR and clearly show your relevant skills — that’s what helps you get an interview faster. Since most resumes today are polished by AI, it’s not easy for employers to find the candidates they truly want. My struggle is that my experience and skills don’t really match what companies are looking for. The school projects I worked on are a bit outdated, and I didn’t get to learn the topics in depth. Right now, it’s hard for me to catch an HR’s attention, and I’m not sure what makes me stand out from other candidates. I know I need time to learn and build side projects, but developing those skills takes time and long-term effort. I’m worried not only about getting an interview, but also about being able to pass it.
