नमस्ते, ਸਤਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ, নমস্কার, வணக்கம், ହାଏ, నమస్కరం, السلام علیکم, Hello! I am Tanmay, an engineer at heart who finds meaning in solving societal grassroots problems. We are currently bringing individuals, communities, and organizations together for climate and environmental action at Enveave. My journey with climate action started in 2006, when, in 6th grade, I first learned about solar power and electric vehicles. Though I was fascinated by the potential of clean technologies, as a kid, I always wondered why we didn’t see them everywhere around us! This eventually became my mission statement. During college, I was building electric vehicles, and then later, with EY and PwC, I was hands-on deploying clean technologies in emerging economies. At EY and PwC, I was one of the youngest and worked with organizations in South and Southeast Asia, helping them with their net zero, clean energy, green industry, energy efficiency, and electric mobility strategies. Apart from my role at Enveave, I volunteer as a Youth Advisor to the World Bank, helping the S4YE leadership access youth perspectives from the global south and enabling an empowering ecosystem for climate education and employment. I am also a part of UN University’s ProSPER.NET climate change leadership network, which focuses on creating a generation of leaders to tackle global sustainability challenges. For my social development work, I have been awarded the Finolex Founder Award for Social Contributions. For my climate contributions, I have received the PwC Debut Award and PwC’s Client Appreciation Award from UNIDO Cambodia.
