About me
Before I give a TLDR about work (if you want to go deeper on that aspect of my life, my LinkedIn should help), I'll give you a TLDR of me.
Grew up lower middle class in a small town in Kerala. Currently definitely upper middle class. Let's just say 16 year old Hari would be proud of 30 year old Hari.
Disclaimer: I don't think I'm hustle-y enough to tell you 3 side hustles that will make you 2L while you sleep. In fact I actively discourage you from speaking to me if that's what you wanted help on.
Ask me about
Mental health: My brain is an absolute mess. The idea of mental health has never been kind to me. So I've spent the last ten years learning the martial art of fighting my shitty mental health.
Habit building: I've gotten better mentally and physically, through habit formation, lots of failing, and doing things that most likely look crazy/unacceptable/unrealistic to most. Happy to share a few nuggets from there.
Salary and money: While I started my career wanting to be millionaire 30 under 30 by 30, my focus shifted somewhere along the middle.
I did make a bit of money (not enough to retire at 30, but enough to afford a year away from work) and my way of looking at money has been different. Ask me for more details on call, I'd be happy to share whatever I can.
Life and slowing down: One of my favourite things to talk about, and hopefully make happen in some form or the other for you.
Ok now work stuff TLDR.
Over a decade in media, advertising and start-ups.
I have been a lot of things from a sales associate, to a writer to a performer to an entrepreneur to a teacher/trainer, to doing content and strategy in the advertising world to finally leading social media and consumer marketing for a tech company.
All through this, I have also been someone who has never "found their passion".
Which is why, we will geek out about why a craftsmanship mindset is better than a passion mindset.
And why systems will always beat goals, if you give it enough time.
