As an Associate Principal at Sattva, Swati builds pilot and large-scale solutions that brings together foundations, civil society organisations and the government. With an extensive on-ground experience across Education (government advocacy, whole child development), Livelihoods (skill building, entrepreneurship development, value chain development, incubating social enterprises) and Gender (creating women focussed solutions in rural markets, capability building and addressing VAW), Swati is committed to deliver sustainable impact. Over the last 12 years, Swati has enabled long-term portfolio/programme strategies, effective operational delivery and enduring collaborations across foundations, nonprofits, CSRs and social enterprises. Prior to Sattva, Swati led multiple projects on rural livelihood, women empowerment and fundraising at Udyogini including projects like gender-responsive enterprise promotion across Southeast Asian countries with World Bank, research studies on handicrafts run by women and violence against women for Ford Foundation, organic farming, food and nutrition security for smallholder farmers with ICCO, women enterprise promotion and agri-livestock-forest produce value chain development for women farmers with PACS and Misereor. She has also authored a paper on Women Enterprise Promotion basis her work in the domain of gender and livelihood generation. Before her stint in the livelihood domain, as a part of Kaivalya Education Foundation, Swati implemented School Excellence Programme of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra-UNICEF across public schools in Mumbai, Maharastra.
