Motivated to work in the consulting sector for agribusiness and related industries . With a strong foundation in agriculture I am confident in my ability to make a positive impact in the industry. My Interest lies in agricultural development, agricultural policies, rural development, tea and plantation industries, agricultural inputs marketing, veterinary inputs marketing and other related fields. As a rural youth born and brought up in Phillobari, Tinsukia, Assam. I have always been passionate about agriculture, tea and plantation industry. My education at Assam Agricultural University provided me with in depth knowledge in agriculture as well as in Tea Husbandry and Technology. At AAU during our Experiential learning programme (ELP) we were able to generate revenue of 5 Lacs for the university in 5 Lacs by increasing the sales of tea. During my graduation I had an opportunity to immerse myself in rural life at Pirakata, Jorhat Assam. We also had an exposure visit to Guwahati Tea Auction Centre and had an opportunity to understand the marketing of tea at Paramount Tea Marketing Pvt. Ltd. During my internship at Gillanders Arbuthnot and Co. Ltd. I got hands on experience in operations, tea estate administration, labour welfare and production. I also had an opportunity to join one of the largest producer of tea McLeod Russell India Pvt. Ltd. as Management Trainee. I am now enrolled in MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly. We are here exploring and understanding businesses in veterinary and animal science sector. Besides professional persuits I enjoy reading books, watching documentaries and Singing.
