Currently building SocialBoat - SB is an AI that helps women manage chronic menstrual issues like PCOS & Thyroid with medicine, diet and exercise. In India, of the 300 million menstruating women, over 97 million suffer from PCOS and often go untreated due to social stigma & lack of awareness. People suffer with anxiety, acne, obesity in short term and often develop infertility and diabetes in the long-term. During Dec-19 to Jul-21, I built Holidaying - enabling travel content creator to monetize by sharing and plannign trips for their followers. Covid was a big dampner but we helped creators sell trips worth 4.5M to their audiences. I have previously worked (2016-19) in the business team at Goibibo where I was managing growth and profitability of the $500M hotels' business. Before Goibibo and MMT merged, I led community initiatives for MakeMyTrip's alternate accommodation venture - Rightstay. I was a founding team member at Rightstay and built India's first community of 10,000 homestays and vacation villas. We worked closely with the tourism departments forging the homestay policy of the country. Before my travel journey, I have founded and scaled a tech-recruiting platform, Valonia where we built a community of 6000+ software developers who would solve challenges for and get recruited by 30 of India's top internet startups. I am a history and culture nerd. I love community building and am good at understanding data and building insights.
