Hi, I’m Swabhaav Narahara Setty, MBA candidate at XLRI. I am a chemical engineer with two years of work experience as an operations officer with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited – Visakh Refinery. I have gained outbound expertise in the Oil and Gas industry with a unique blend of Process Technology and Operations Management. I'm passionate about the environment and energy, which made me focus my research on the intersection of the environment, the energy industry and chemical engineering. I have done research internships in the country's best institutes to consolidate my knowledge: IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad. I have also interned at the United Nations Environment Programme, a unique opportunity with rich international experience. This summer, I interned at ReNew in the Investor Relations Team, delving into the dynamic world of renewables and financial markets. Beyond my academic pursuits, I have a flair for writing articles and served as the Official Article Writer of IIPE. Additionally, my interpersonal skills have led me to hold the Joint Secretary – Consulting Club position at XLRI and previously as General Secretary for the Student Affairs Council of IIPE.
