Suvek is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI, India), a Company Secretary (Executive) (ICSI, India), a FMVA®(CFI, Canada) and a CGMA (Management) (CIMA, UK) holding Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (IGNOU, India). Suvek has completed his 3 years of apprenticeship at Baker Tilly DHC (formerly known as BDO) in the field of Indirect Taxation with exposure to various industries including media & entertainment and manufacturing to name a few. The assignments included Comprehensive Tax Reviews, Pan-India VAT/CST Compliances, Litigation Support and Tax Advisory. Post qualification, Suvek has been working with KPMG in India, where he was based out of Mumbai for 3 years and it has been over 5 years since he is based at New Delhi. Initially he was associated with Indirect Taxation team where he was a part of the team driving the GST transition for multiple clients from industries such as Banking & NBFC, IT & ITes. Other assignments in this tenure included Refund Assistance, Writ Petition Drafting and Submission, GST Advisory and Compliance Overview. Suvek has led large teams during this time. He has also been appreciated for working independently and received multiple appreciations during this time. Thereafter, Suvek made an internal switch to the Management Consulting team. The team has focus on Business Transformation which includes driving revenue and optimizing cost for businesses. Suvek has been leading engagements right from pitch activities to delivery of projects. Lately, he is also invested in Gen AI, Technology led Transformation, Next Gen GTM initiatives for the firm.
