▪️WHO I AM 🤔 ? A True Security Enthusiast. Being from a Computer Engineering background, I started as a Software Engineer with COM, VC++ technology in the Medical domain in the year 2004. Had a very small stint in the CAD/CAM domain. But as I was always keen and interested in the security domain, I started off with a career for the same in year 2007 through Symantec. ▪️WHAT ARE MY SKILLS 🏅? In my ongoing tenure in the security domain till now, I had the opportunity to work on making products in numerous areas of security like Compliance through CIS benchmarking, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), SVA (Security Virtual Appliance), DCS (Data Center Security), Advance Endpoint Protection (on-prem + cloud), Antivirus Engine, Cloud Security solutions like SASE (current profile) The above product portfolio is helping me continue to strengthen my understanding of building blocks of security concepts like Confidentiality , Integrity, Availability, Defenese in depth, Threat modelling, Threat analysis, Compliance, Risk Management. While working on different areas mentioned above I had the opportunity to work upon various supporting tools and technologies mentioned below DB - SQL, NoSQL Source Code tools - Perforce, TortoiseSVN, Gitlab (currently) Frameworks - COM, Casablanca, PKI, Django (currently) Performance - Windows Performance Analyzer, Intel Vtune Profiler Network - Wireshark Malware - CFF explorer, PEinfo Cloud - AWS, SAAS (currently) OS - Windows, Linux Programming Language - C++, Python (currently) Apart from above, I mentor new team members and conduct technical interviews. ▪️WhO IS MY INSPIRATION 🧘‍♂️ ? I would always thank all my past organizations, current organization, mentors, colleagues who have helped me gain knowledge and experience. ▪️WHAT ARE MY ASPIRATIONS 🧗‍♂️? I feel there is still a lot for me to learn. CISSP (security gold standard certification) I aspire eventually to be in a role of CTO/CISO who understands security fundamentals at a broader level and at the same time has an understanding of what happens in the background of technical controls (because I worked in the making of those). ▪️WHY ME 🙏 ? My profile has 'learn and earn' spirit. My profile has an understanding of Technical Architecture with Security embedded (NOT supplemented) in it. My profile would not only help organizations to create appropriate security oriented architecture implementations for them but also create security awareness to their respective stakeholders.
