I dream! There is nothing more to the world we can build. That's how I started my journey. Ventured into technology during my early days and carved my path into the bucket of startups in order to bring a change around the career opportunities in the Music industry. Having a keen interest in music helped, and I was able to lead and handle across verticals and domains: Strategy, Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Engineering, and Product. Within a few years, started another brand in the Retail Investment space to aid small business owners compete with established brands, and this experience has made me sector-agnostic. Meanwhile, my dream of creating a long-term positive impact in the lives of people pushed me to be in touch with myself and to understand the on-ground realities of government initiatives. That's when I ventured into Teach For India, where my understanding of human behavior acted as a catalyst, and I was able to create a stronger bond with myself, the people around me, and the intermediaries. My dream developed stronger roots here, and I ultimately fell in love with the amalgamation of diverse academic, social, and intellectual backgrounds. The "connection" we humans can create across genres, with a touch of our first-hand experiences, can give wings to our dreams. All my experiences have made me understand that there are many underlying universal foundations that work across industries and within everybody's lives. First Principles is one of the keys, coupled with child-like curiosity, openness, mental stability, swift timing, making prudent & quick decisions (because we will never have all the data), and being able to change one's mind. In my personal life, I love to write, sketch, read, play drums, cook, mentor, tell stories, be around dogs, learn different things, and crack tons of PJs.
