Sunil Varkey is a Project Management Leader who partners with senior executives to drive projects that enable large-scale digital transformations. After spending nearly two decades working with information technology, engineering and financial institutions, Sunil understands the complexities involved in enabling change through technology working with clients in the US, UK, Middle East, South East Asia and India. With his experience as a leader, Sunil has been mentoring startup companies enabling them to scale up their business by incorporating management systems and processes to ensure long term business growth. He also does career mentoring for young students helping them unlock their potential and build productive careers thereby shaping young minds and building the nation. Using his diverse experience, Sunil is also a technology writer. He maintains a blog “Thought Chronicles” and also writes on Medium, the online content publishing platform. Sunil is a graduate from the University of Cambridge in the UK where he read MPhil in Technology Policy as a Commonwealth Scholar. He has also done his Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Software Technology from NCST and an Electronics Engineering Bachelors from University of Mumbai. He is PMP certified, an Agile Certified Coach and a Certified Scrum Master. Sunil is also ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certified professional and a Certified Career Coach with Dheya Career Mentors. During weekends, he loves to volunteer for activities related to rural development and social welfare contributing to poverty alleviation by participating in capacity building and livelihood training.
