I hold an M.Tech in Computer Science & Information Security from MNIT Jaipur and currently work as a Scientist B at C-DOT, where I work on telecom-grade systems and backend technologies. My journey has involved preparing for GATE, pursuing higher studies, contributing to open source through the Linux Kernel, working in software R&D, and exploring different career paths within Computer Science. Through Topmate, I’d love to help students and early-career professionals with: * GATE & Computer Science: Preparation strategies, study plans, subject guidance, and navigating the GATE journey. * Higher Studies: Guidance on M.Tech/MS, choosing specializations, and making the most of your master's. * Government Exams & Technical Careers: Guidance on Computer Science opportunities through government exams and recruitment in organizations such as C-DOT, DRDO, ISRO, NIC, PSUs, R&D organizations, and other government technical roles. * Open Source: Getting started with open source, finding suitable projects, making your first contribution, and exploring programs such as Outreachy. * Remote Internships: Finding and applying for remote internships, identifying opportunities beyond traditional campus placements, building a strong profile, and making the most of remote work opportunities. * Resume Reviewing: Practical feedback on resumes, projects, technical skills, profile building, and positioning yourself for internships and jobs. My goal is to share what I’ve learned from my academic and professional journey and help others make informed decisions about their education, career, and opportunities in technology. Whether you’re preparing for GATE, considering a master's, exploring government technical careers, looking for remote internships, getting started with open source, improving your resume, networking or trying to figure out which area of Computer Science to pursue, I’d be happy to help!
