A software engineer at heart with 18+ years of experience building enterprise-level distributed software systems. Been luck to get a chance to work for some of the leading internet and product companies like Netflix, eBay, Yahoo, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems. Currently, I am a Principal Engineer with Marqeta, a fintech in the card issuing and processing space. I live in Bay Area, California, with my wife and two young kids. The first half of my career was based in India (Bangalore and Hyderabad), and the latter half - was here in the Bay Area. I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science from NITK, Surathkal.
