My experience ensures that complex mechanical/mechatronic systems meet stringent (and frequently conflicting) requirements at all stages of design, development, manufacturing and service. I constantly strive to understand problems from the first principles that enables me to find a range of solutions that can be implemented, depending on project needs. ➡️ As a lead engineer, delivered mechanical design for multi-million-dollar opto-mechanical 6DOF magnetically levitated stage, which is part of a high-NA EUV lithography machine; 1 patent, 3 defensive publications, and 5 ASML tech. conference posters. ➡️ Solved high-impact internal (production) and external (customer) escalations by developing new metrology methods using acoustic microscopy and by root-cause analysis followed by systematic testing, respectively. ➡️ Winner of the prestigious Dave Dornfeld Manufacturing Vision Award for my vision of using computer game-based learning and training to solve a >2 million skilled manufacturing workforce shortage by 2030.
