With over 20 years of experience in software engineering and management, I lead a team of data engineers, ML engineers, MLOPs and DevOPs at Walmart Global Tech India, where we deliver scalable and innovative solutions for store and e-commerce demand forecasting and replenishment. This covers ~10k stores in US and International, also for eCom (walmart.com, US). I leverage my expertise in GCP and Azure Stack, DataBricks, Hive, Kafka, and ElasticSearch to design and implement data pipelines, analytics, and data science applications that support billion-dollar decisions in the retail market. Previously, I worked as a technical manager at Energy Exemplar, where I contributed to the development and testing of energy modelling, simulation, and optimisation software. I also filed multiple US patents in the areas of development IDE, source code control, data center infrastructure management, dynamic caching, and app UX. Additionally, I reviewed a book on Practical Apache Lucene 8 and conducted training sessions on ElasticSearch. I am passionate about learning and applying new technologies and frameworks, such as Spring Boot, MongoDB, Salesforce Integration, Android, RESTFul WS, and Apache Lucene. I hold a master's degree in computer software engineering from BITS Pilani and a certificate in AI and ML from IIIT Hyderabad.
