About me
I’m Subha Saha. I have a decade long experience at Amazon, began my Amazon journey in 2014 as a Merchant‑Risk intern in Hyderabad and, step by step, grew into my current role as Data Engineer II for Last‑Mile Delivery & Tech. The spark came when I saw how a well‑written SQL query could answer big business questions, so I leaned into learning pipelines, Python and AWS tools with help from mentors and Amazon’s training programs. Since then I’ve built WBR dashboards that Whole Foods still uses, internal analytics tools that save teams hours, and real‑time data flows that keep deliveries on track.
Outside work I maintain Whistling Duck, a lightweight open‑source library that runs data‑quality checks in DuckDB. It’s designed for small‑to‑medium datasets, keeps dependencies to a minimum, and offers Pandas‑style APIs so anyone can drop quick validation into their workflow.
I’m passionate about helping others switch into tech from non‑technical backgrounds—because I did the same—and I enjoy turning messy data into clear, actionable insights. Let’s connect if you’d like to chat about delivery analytics, data quality, or career transitions.
