About me
Hey! 👋
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA, Washington) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), based in Seattle. I came here as an international student myself, so I know firsthand how confusing, lonely, and overwhelming the journey can feel — especially in the mental health field, where it's hard to find people who share your background.
I work with people on:
🧠 Depression & anxiety
🌍 Acculturation & cultural identity (adjusting to life in a new country)
💼 Corporate stress & burnout
🧓 Older adults & the challenges of aging
🔄 Life transitions & building healthy coping habits
💔 Grief & loss
👪 Relationship & family stress
🪞 Self-esteem & identity
😴 Sleep difficulties
🌱 Trauma & PTSD
🧘 Yoga & mind-body approaches to wellbeing
I'm here for you if you:
💭 Are thinking about studying mental health abroad and have a million questions
🌍 Are an NRI feeling stressed, anxious, or a little lost and not sure where to turn
🤝 Just want to talk to someone who gets it
I offer a free discovery call — a relaxed space to talk, ask questions, and get connected to the right resources and support. You don't have to figure it all out alone.
A little about me: I'm a big believer in rest and self-care (yes, sleeping counts). And a slightly ridiculous quote I live by — "Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate, roti's gonna rotate." It doesn't rhyme, and it won't make your experience any less hard, but sometimes a little lightness helps.
Seeking help can feel intimidating. If you're browsing and unsure where to start, just drop me a message (it's free) and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction. ❤️
