After working in startups for the past decade I'm trying something new by working as a freelancer. This allows me to own my own time and focus on areas that I normally wouldn't be able to, one being reflective mentorship which always took a backseat. I hope that I'm able to share my experiences in building startups, growing cross-functional teams, developing software and machine learning based products, and how to build the career that you want. My time working in startups has meant that I've worked across the stack from inception to delivery, helping define the problem to implementing the entire solution stack. This typically includes product design, project management, business models, software licensing, privacy and compliance, R&D and software maintenance tax credits, security, frontend and backend development, dev-ops, data engineering, data annotation, ml-ops, exploratory data analysis, applied machine learning, user feedback.
