As a Computer Science graduate from San Diego State University, my journey as an international student in California has been anything but linear. I’m passionate about developing scalable software solutions that drive business growth and user engagement.
Before moving to the U.S., I worked as a Software Developer for nearly two years in India, where I developed full-stack web applications in fast-paced startup environments. That early exposure to building real products, wearing multiple hats, and solving user-centric problems laid the foundation for my passion in tech. After a year of experience in Gujarat, I joined Physics Wallah and that brought a great exposure of living a life in India's silicon valley - Bangalore!
During my Master’s, I deepened my technical skills while juggling coursework, part-time roles, and research. I served as a Teaching Assistant for Database Systems, and as a Research Assistant exploring Large Language Models for academic literature - learning to balance theory with practice. I even co-developed a healthcare chatbot during a hackathon, from ideation and Figma wireframing to deployment and pitching.
But it hasn’t been easy. Navigating a new country, managing OPT timelines, job applications, and staying mentally and physically healthy - I was lucky enough to have my elder brother to navigate me but not all the people are!
And that’s why I’m here - to share what I’ve learned, answer the questions you might be afraid to ask, and help you make confident, informed decisions about life, studies, and tech careers abroad.
Let’s connect - your journey doesn't have to feel like a solo ride. 🤝
