My name is Rohit Salgotra, an Assistant Professor at AGH University of Krakow, Poland. I have worked in the field of Nature-Inspired Computing and have published 60 Science Citation Indexed publications with a Google Scholar citation of 2300 (h-Index: 24). My name has also been listed in the Indian Researchers in Stanford University’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists for the Year 2022-2021. Before joining AGH, I worked at Swansea University as a Research officer and worked on the Socio-economic aspects to deal with COVID-19. I was able to secure good amount of travel grants from various agencies including Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India and IEEE, Computational Intelligence Society (thrice in three consecutive years). I am also the Academic Editor of Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Hindawi and Reviewer of IEEE Transactions of Evolutionary Computation, Swarm and Evolutionary Computing Elsevier and more than Thirty other SCI journals.
