About me
I am Sriram Suresh, a passionate and self-motivated software developer currently working as a Member techninal staff at Zoho Corporation. I pursued my B.E. in Information Science and Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, where I was actively engaged in software development, problem-solving, and competitive programming. My technical expertise spans multiple programming languages, including Java and C, with intermediate proficiency in C++ and Python. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as the MERN stack.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have worked on various full-stack development projects, contributing to both frontend and backend implementations. Some of my notable projects include EventFlow, a full-fledged event management system built using Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, and BIT Cafeterias, a web application designed for seamless food ordering and reservations. I also played a significant role in developing a Charity Donation Platform, integrating secure payment processing with Stripe and providing a platform for impactful fundraising.
I have received multiple accolades for my work, including winning first prize at the BRICS International Skills Competition in Web Development and securing top positions in national and international hackathons. My project, Virtual Librarian, won second prize in the VISAI-2023 International Hackathon, earning a cash award and an invitation to develop an AI-driven solution for document retrieval. I was also honored with the Best Paper Award at an international conference for my research on lung cancer prediction using machine learning.
Beyond development, I have taken the initiative to organize technical events within my department as a Campus Ambassador for Coding Ninjas and Skill trainer for juniors in programming and full-stack development. I enjoy engaging in problem-solving challenges, exploring new technologies, and contributing to open-source projects.
Currently, I am focusing on expanding my expertise in Software development. My long-term goal is to grow as a software engineer, take on leadership roles, and contribute to impactful technology-driven solutions.
