About me

Dr. Srinivasa K. Rao is a New York-based biomedical scientist. He got his Ph.D. from the University of Paris, France, in 1988. Since then, he has been living and working in New York. He worked as a scientist and teacher at Columbia University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, LIJ Medical Center, and as an adjunct faculty did Cell Biology & Molecular Biology and Developmental Biology teaching at Queens College, City University of New York. Later, he worked in the vaccine industry and gained insights into public health and nutrition. He participated in several academic, governmental, and quasi-governmental organizations like WHO, pharma & vaccine industry meetings. He introduced Quinoa farming in India and selling in India as an entrepreneur. Later added high protein rice and now developing Green Salt from plants. As an entrepreneur at present, he is working to introduce these healthy products in the US market for better health for all. He is attempting to integrate the key metabolites of diseases database, Malacards, with the Human Metabolomics database and Food Nutrient database to arrive at the food suggestions that can help attain and maintain a healthy state.
