About me

I spent the last two years adapting and building AI and related technologies for different purposes as part of the startup NLightN. NLightN commenced as a startup focused on bridging the skill gap among Indian youth using Technology like AI. But after having used AI directly and gotten 1000s of youth using the tools, I realised the real power of AI. NLightN pivoted to being a provider of AI tools and solutions to Individuals and Organisations. Yes, I am among those who appear to have suddenly come into AI. :-) But I am not claiming to be an AI Expert. I am not into training Models etc. I learnt from direct experience of building and deploying existing AI models in one Use Case i.e. Learning & Skilling. My offer is to help you navigate the complex and evolving terrain of AI. If you are looking for a Data Science / ML expert or a Model trainer, I am not the right guy. However if you want to utilise the power of existing AI models in a frugal manner, maybe it's good to talk to me first as I will try to help you based on my direct experience in doing this. Here's my suggestion: Embrace AI asap. Use existing Models first. Don't overspend as yet, unless you have deep pockets and want to build Proprietary Models and play it big in the AI world. There are a 1000 Use Cases of simply leveraging existing Models frugally. -------------- Sreekanth has 15 yrs experience in program managing and building AI and related tech tools for Skilling and Education. These were done as part of his startup NLightN, CSR@Wipro and Azim Premji Foundation. He has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and is a B. Tech. from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram. He has led teams at start-ups and large corporates. He co-founded Iksula, an Ecommerce solutions start-up. He has worked in the IT industry with Tata Consultancy Services and had a brief stint at eBay. Sreekanth is married to a passionate Crafter and father of a curious learner in middle school. Some specific areas of work - Program Managing different aspects of a large Program across 6 states in India - Co-Founded and ran Operations for Iksula, an Ecommerce Solutions company (3yrs) - Co-created SeasonWatch (5yrs) - from an idea to a nation-wide Citizen Science project by leveraging Tech for Science. Today it has 1400 schools participating and 5lakh observations done on 15K Trees - Contributed to setting up Earthian program (5yrs), which is a now a leading Sustainability educational program for Schools and Colleges - Being part of National level Policy advocacy in India
