As a people focused strategic leader in tech industry with over two decades of global experience, having worked across multiple continents, domains and companies, I’m passionate about building and leading diverse & high performing global Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance org for Enterprise SaaS based web, mobile, IOT, cloud products and platform services, and establishing automation frameworks, Quality Gates, SQA process and KPIs from scratch. As a results-driven QA/QE leader, my professional journey has been enriched by diverse roles in both large, highly matrixed as well as early life cycle entities such as SONOS, Siemens, Autodesk and TIAA(InsurTech, FinTech). Some of my key responsibilities and experiences have been: • Provide management leadership, technical leadership, and strategic direction to elevate quality engineering teams. • Build onsite and offshore teams and reduce operational cost to organizations. • Transforming Quality Assurance to Quality Engineering focused organizations to achieve faster time to market, with better quality and increased ROI utilizing open-source automation frameworks and tools. • Leading and managing Quality and Automation test engineer teams, and delivering quality products within budget. • Growing, coaching and retaining a world-class team of SDETs, quality managers, and quality engineers. • Build automation frameworks from scratch and integrate them into CI/CD. • Implement DevOps focused quality culture in building cloud-based micro-services and modern web and mobile applications. • Full life cycle involvement (SDLC) and establishing productive communications between QA, Development, Architects, PM/Business, Operations and Customer support teams in delivering a quality product. • IOT, Firmware & embedded systems: finding the intersection between HW, FW and SW, and enabling teams to work smarter to have E-2-E system level integration tests and automation. • Navigate through changes effectively.
