I am currently working at Microsoft, where I have spent the last 7 years in roles such as Cloud Solution Architect and Premier Field Engineer. With over 15 years of expertise in SQL Server—covering clusters, high availability (HA), database availability groups (DAG), replication, log shipping, and performance tuning—and more than 5 years of experience with open-source databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, both on Azure and on-premises, along with Cosmos DB, I bring deep technical and strategic knowledge to enterprise solutions. I specialize in guiding customers through their cloud migration journey, conducting whiteboarding and architecture design sessions, and creating deployment blueprints that prioritize availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization. My work ensures alignment with Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) best practices. With extensive experience in Azure Fabric, I help organizations adopt modern data platforms for workloads like data warehouses, lakehouses, IoT, and Airflow. I design and develop data ingestion pipelines (ETL/ELT) for large-scale batch processing using Azure Databricks, ADF, Python, and Synapse Analytics. Additionally, I assist customers in Azure AI adoption, building solutions such as chatbots, virtual assistants, language translation, speech-to-text, fraud detection, and sentiment analysis. My expertise includes migrating SQL Server workloads from on-premises, VMs, AWS, or GCP to Azure SQL, Managed Instance, and Hyperscale, as well as heterogeneous migrations from Oracle, MariaDB, and MongoDB to Azure platforms. I also design modern data warehouse and analytics solutions from scratch using Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric, and provide strategies for disaster recovery across multiple database platforms.
