You were super generous with your time and filled with patience in spite of the network issue. However, I wished the conversation was more on the line of 'how' than 'why'.
In my limited experience, finding 'why' takes a lot more experimentation and exploration, which at the moment I cannot avail.
Without a reference point (people with similar background) and ecosystem (which institutions provide), breaking into new field is a scary game. Hence the, need for 'how'.
