I love opening up stuff and fiddling with the guts. - An innovative and efficient Team Leader who is open to all ideas (Good or Bad) with a passion to mentor team members. - Would like to be called a student in the field of Database Administration, a certified Oracle DBA having 8+ yrs. of extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle 10g,11g,12c) including RAC, Oracle Multi-Tenant Architecture, ASM, Dataguard, Performance Tuning, Upgrade and Migration among others. - Around 3 years of experience as MySQL DBA. - Experience in end to end Oracle (11gR2, 12cR1) RAC installation with DR configuration using Oracle DataGuard/Advanced Replication/Golden Gate starting from conceptualization, planning, environment preparation, configuration to implementation. - Expertise in Enterprise level setup, configuration and implementation of Oracle 12c Cloud Control (OEM 12c) for infrastructure monitoring. - Sound knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g & 12c Database Architecture and Performance enhancement including requirement understanding, designing of structural database, performance measuring, backup maintaining, crash recovery and performance tuning. - Proficient in instance (memory) tuning, database performance tuning, configuring Linux Kernel for Oracle Database usage, and tuning contention for I/O. - Configuring and Maintenance of Oracle 10g, 11g Dataguard (Physical & Logical Standby) - Table Partitioning for performance benefits and maintenance - Knowledge of Oracle Exadata Machine. - A team player with excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, capacity to meet deadlines. - Enjoy looking into new features and try applying them wherever applicable.
