I’m Souhridhra Chakraborty, a passionate life science researcher-in-training, currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Biotechnology at Amity University Kolkata. With a growing focus on infectious disease biology, immunology, and public health, I’m driven by one goal: to translate complex science into real-world health solutions. My curiosity lies at the intersection of host-pathogen interactions, immune system dynamics, and disease diagnostics. From the lab bench to field-based disease surveillance, I thrive on uncovering how biology can be applied to solve persistent public health challenges. Through my academic journey and hands-on experience, I’ve built a strong foundation in molecular techniques, immunoassays, and data interpretation. My most recent research on lymphatic filariasis at ICMR-RMRC Bhubaneswar has sharpened my ability to lead impactful, independent research bridging the gap between science and society.
