This 1:1 session is for software engineers preparing for system design interviews at senior IC, tech lead, staff engineer, or engineering manager levels.

If you feel underprepared for system design rounds, struggle to structure your answers, or keep going deep on one component and losing the big picture, this session will help you fix that with practical, real-world guidance.

In this session, we can work on:

- building a solid framework for answering any system design question

- practising real questions: URL shortener, payment systems, notification services, rate limiters, message queues, CDN, and more

- understanding trade-offs in distributed systems, scalability, and reliability

- mapping your existing engineering experience to interview-ready answers

- identifying the most common gaps that cause failure in senior design rounds

My guidance is grounded in real production systems I have designed and led: RabbitMQ-to-SQS migrations, distributed database architectures, AWS Lambda pipelines, ECS/Fargate deployments, MySQL-to-MySQL migrations at scale, and DataDog observability across 8 interconnected applications.

You will leave with a sharper mental model, a reliable answer structure, and clear gaps to work on before your next round.
