I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and have over 200 hours of experience working in hospitals, including government and private settings, and over 150 hours of experience analyzing qualitative data. I have also gained experience carrying out quantitative research and a scoping review. Additionally, I am trained in geriatric counseling and can communicate fluently in English, Hindi, and Konkani. Currently, I am working as a research intern for the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru, and as an Associate Therapist for That Desi Psychologist, where I have been working pro bono under supervision employing an eclectic approach. I am also a volunteer for the NPO Trauma Education & Research Foundation (T&F). The most important part of the discipline of Psychology for me is that it helps us understand people, and then use this understanding to facilitate healing and growth. The subfields I am most interested in are Health and Trauma Psychology.
