About me
I am Lalitha (they/he/she), a queer-neurodivergent therapist. I finished my master's in Applied Psychology from University of Calicut and did my therapy training course from Oppam Academy
I love music that makes me feel deeply and singing grounds me. Cooking is where I am the most comfortable being creative. When I'm not knee-deep in a new hyperfixation, or lost in pinterest, I'll probably be geeking out over a series or film.
Mental health concerns do not exist in a vacuum, which is why understanding them through a systemic lens is central to my work. I mainly draw from narrative therapy and a person-centered approach, supported by empirically backed methods such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My practice is trauma-informed, queer- and neurodivergent-affirmative, and inclusive of diverse relationship styles, including kink and polyamory.
I see therapy as a collaborative space where we work together. It isn’t a quick fix, but a process that asks for patience, presence, and the willingness to keep showing up.
Languages I speak: Malayalam, English, Hindi and can understand Tamil fairly well.
