Hello, I'm Simranjeet Singh, currently enrolled in a combined M.Tech and Ph.D. program within the Electrical Engineering department at IIT Bombay. Before commencing my postgraduate studies, I held the role of Assistant Project Manager at e-Yantra, a project sponsored by MeitY. This experience paved the way for my position as a research assistant during my master's program at IIT Bombay. Throughout my master's journey, I had the privilege of enhancing my research capabilities during a 4-month stint as a visiting scientist at RWTH Aachen, Germany. Additionally, in 2023, I spent a year as a visiting scientist at Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany, successfully validating my research hypothesis. My experiences in various German institutes and teams greatly contributed to honing my skills in scientific writing, resulting in favorable publication outcomes for my Ph.D. thesis. Just in brief, my Ph.D. revolves around emerging technologies, and I am particularly passionate about implementing new algorithms on emerging devices like in-memory computing, neuromorphic computing, and hardware security.
