As a DevOps Engineer / SRE at BlueJeans by Verizon, I am responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools for the video conferencing platform. I work with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform. I leverage my skills and knowledge in CICD, Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Atlassian products to create and deploy efficient and robust pipelines, containers, and scripts. I also use various monitoring and observability tools, such as NewRelic, Cloudwatch, and Grafana, to track and troubleshoot the performance and availability of the platform. I have contributed to several significant projects and initiatives, such as migrating the platform to AWS, implementing a new alerting system, and optimizing the resource utilization and cost efficiency of the platform. I have a Master of Computer Applications degree from Sri Venkateswara University, with a focus on Computer Science. I am passionate about learning new technologies and best practices in the DevOps and SRE domain, and I continuously seek opportunities to improve my skills and knowledge.
