I believe life is all about overcoming challenges and solving problems. The journey becomes interesting if we are able to find simple solutions to complex problems and thus make a difference. This brings me to my new found enthusiasm for Data !!! I am currently enrolled in an intensive Data Science program. I have gained exposure to different machine learning algorithms, statistical and exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing and data visualization and modeling techniques. The program has refined and upgraded my data analysis skills. In my previous roles, I was constantly exposed to data and the business value that they provide. This led me to be intrigued by this new domain. I bring a wealth of experience and skills from my previous business and consulting roles complemented by technical skills amassed from the data science program. Combined with an education in Statistics, Math and Business Administration, my objective is to leverage my business acumen and new found data science skills to solve new and exciting challenges. My business experience started with Acer Inc., with institutional account management roles. It then continued with Ricoh Inc., where I had the opportunity to further improve my learning in global project management and services consulting. The roles have constantly grown in terms of stature as well as accountability. Every role has helped chisel my stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills. It has also given me hand-on experience in managing and evaluating large datasets and deriving meaningful business insights from data. A result-oriented team player and a persuasive communicator, I bring with me exceptional analytical and management skills and a knack for identifying business requirements while successfully ensuring these are catered to effectively. I possess the multitasking ability to sketch a plan, prioritize the work and manage complex projects under aggressive timelines.
